About

Think Big! Lead Now! Young Women’s National Leadership Program is a comprehensive bilingual leadership program designed by youth for youth.

Each year, YWCA Canada calls upon summit alumni and youth leaders from across Canada to update and inform the program’s curriculum as members of the Leadership Summit Animation Team. It is important to us that each program is current, representative and relevant to the challenges that young women and non-binary youth face.

Through this program, you will develop an understanding of the nature of social change, and your capacity to effect change through your actions.

The program provides you with a safe space to:

  • Discover the type of leader you want to be through online learning sessions, talks, and self-study

  • Learn from amazing speakers and facilitators

  • Connect, network and share with like-minded youth from across Canada and participate in civic engagement activities

Engage in new experiences, stretch beyond your comfort level, practice and enhance your skills, reflect upon your experiences and become the leader you envision yourself to be.
