Just a short walk from the shores of Lake Couchiching, rooms offer a cozy retreat to return to after a full day. Rooms include Desktop fans, coffee maker, telephone, private 4-piece washroom, There are (10) wheelchair accessible rooms available; (4) with roll-in showers.
Delegates will share rooms with other delegates. YWCA staff will pair delegates based on age interests and region.
Meals are served buffet-style. During the Summit, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinners will be provided. The menu for the day is generally prominently placed at the end of the buffet line, and each dish will be labelled.
There will also be refreshments mid-morning, mid-afternoon and as part of the evening activities. There is also a beverage station that offers juices, milk, and water. There is also a very popular chocolate milk and hot chocolate station. We recommend bringing a travel mug and water bottle.

What to bring?
Keep in mind that Muskoka tends to get snowy; after all it is magical Muskoka for a reason! Here are some suggestions when packing for the Summit:
- Sweaters / layers
- Waterproof winter coat
- Winter hat / toque
- Gloves / mitts
- Extra underwear / socks
- Indoor shoes
- Winter boots
- Slippers/flip flops for shower
- Ice skates (optional)
- Musical instrument
- Personal Toiletries
- Travel bottle / travel mug (fun for hot chocolate)
- Small notebook & pen
- Washcloth and towel
- Prescription medication
- Body lotio; lip balm
- Money for meals en route
What not to bring
Of course, also keep in mind that some items are prohibited. Please take note of what NOT to bring to the Summit or venue
- Matches / lighter
- Drugs / alcohol
- Knives / sharp objects
- Luxury items
- Scented products
- Large amounts of money
YMCA Geneva Park and YWCA Canada are not responsible for personal belongings including electronic devices (such as MP3 players, iPods, games and cameras).
Please label and waterproof all of your items in a Ziploc bag.
Make sure to bring clean and comfortable clothes that can easily be layered. (Weather in March is unpredictable)
Participants may be asked to put away items
